Hoksinaduta = scarlet boy (not red). He was a Wahpetun chief here on the Spirit Lake Rez. This is all I can give you from my pea brain. Toksta, LouieG

ftpeckpabasa: how was the indian name of "Good Woman" spelled? there is a big year span bet. 1841 and 1909. You need to track her backwards in time. How do you know it is the same woman and not a different one.for all we know this woman may have married more than once. Another factor to consider is that good woman or good house woman is a commmon Dakota name,as are the names that were given to the offspring in the order of their birth(ie. Hapan-second born is son, etc).

There was a Hoksinaduta that was a scout for the Army. Look in the Archives for the 1892 Elrod Roll of Scouts and Soldier's list. He had several children as his surviving descendents I believe he was a Sisseton-Wahpeton. No spouse is listed as surviving him.

See if you can find the book 'Liettle Crow Spokesman for the Sioux." You will find a genealogy chart in the Index. I believe Inyagmani and his daughters are also mentioned in the book.
